This course introduces learners to the principles and practices of animal health management, focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, and control of diseases in livestock and companion animals. It covers basic animal anatomy and physiology, common diseases and parasites, biosecurity measures, vaccination programs, nutrition and its role in health, animal welfare, and hygiene practices. The course prepares students for responsible animal care, improved productivity, and support roles in veterinary and livestock production systems.

This course provides learners with advanced knowledge and practical skills in the production of field and horticultural crops for sustainable and commercial agriculture. It covers crop biology, soil and water management, land preparation, planting techniques, nutrient management, crop protection, harvesting, and post-harvest handling. Emphasis is placed on the use of appropriate technologies, climate-smart agriculture, and environmentally sustainable practices to improve productivity and profitability.
